A little about me

If you are reading this, I am so excited that you found my small corner of the world.  You really have no idea how excited I am that you are visiting!

I’ll tell you a super brief little bit about myself.  I’m long winded, so technically I could write a book “about me” but for the sake of your time, and because my kids probably want dinner at some point, I will keep it short and sweet

I was born in North Carolina, grew up in small town *beautiful* Virginia, married a military man and we have traveled and moved through most of the south since then.

 

I have a degree in Interior and Fashion Merchandising that I have never been able to use in it’s most traditional sense so here enters the blog portion of my life.

There’s really not many crafts or diy projects that I don’t find interesting.   And for real, I’m pretty sure Pinterest was created by God, just for me….and I’m sure 99% of you as well! I figure if I’m going to spend time creating, I may as well document it and whoever wants to can join in on watching me laugh at myself

I am foremost a Christian, secondly a wife to a purty handsome man, and a mother to two fun and spunky kiddos that keep me busssssyyy!!!

Here’s my handsome beau.

This is my favorite mommy picture.  My mom took this photo of me and my now 3 year old boy.  I feel it is the epitomy of how I feel about motherhood (unless it’s a day when my house is a mess and my kids are driving me nuts…oh wait!  That’s every day)

 

Here are the other two loves of my life.  Sweet babies.

Life is good.  It has it’s strange, head scratching moments, but I know my purpose for being here and my goal is to complete that purpose with a smile on my face.
